Written by ZIA for a Tourism Ad, and being inspired from growing up on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, ‘Sunshine’ Feat. MC Anon is the original radio edit currently at radio and hit #1 Streamed Track on PLAYMPE Charts in Australia and New Zealand, March 20th in it’s first week to radio. ‘Sunshine’ radio edit was mixed by ARIA and UK Chart regular DJ / Producer Dave Manna, Sydney, and the music video produced by ZIA, won Best Artistic Music Video and Animation at the recent Australian Independent Music Video Awards.
“Sunshine is really close to my heart. It’s an aural and lyrical expression of my childhood growing up on the Sunny Coast,” says Zia. “I come from a Swedish-American family lineage, so producing the remixes together with Swedish producer Beaten Bass, and also with family living in the United States, and having MC Anon feature for the rap in the ‘Sunshine’ radio edit, makes this song a real coming home for me on so many levels.”
