“Cut and Taste presented “Pop My Cherry with Pride†– the alternative after party. A sweet mix of Australia’s best underground Dj’s ( Feisty, Kylie Rose and Keith Duddy) supported by …the first guest the enigmatic pint sized performer Zia. I have been hungry for live dance in a night club setting since I experienced it in a fab day club in London, yet I have found it lacking on most Brisbane club menus.
Zia didn’t let me down, with a rich performance full of flavour, she definitely rocked the house. Framed by a burning light show she belted out tunes that could have easily been the white labels in our favourite Dj’s cases.
All the ingredients were there, dirty beats, a fat bass line and just enough vocals to get your groove on, Zia was definitely a highlight for me.â€
